Citation Link: New graphic interface
       A new graphical interface is now available for the Citation link mapping.
       With this new interface, the citation networks are more clear and usable.
       Several options such as the graphical zoom, the adding of patents to a download list,
       the selection of patents with the local search engine, are making this Matheo Patent
       much more efficient in the analysis of citation links.



     Legal Statute: full text search is available
       The local search engine can help the user with searching the Legal Statute of patents
       in full text mode.

     Patent Status: New menu for each patent
       A new option in Matheo Patent allows the user to assign a status code to each patent.
       The values of this code can be: "No Information", "Pending", "In Force", "Opposition",
       "Not in Force", "Change", "Reinstatement", "Extension".

     Downloading Information report
       After the patent information downloads, Matheo Patent presents a window in which
       the user can know the list of patent no found during the request processing.
       A file called Missing_Patent.txt is also created to save that information.
       This file can help the user with downloading the patents from another source.

     Document Inquiry: New button "Mark All"
       With this new button, the user can select all documents
       (for the full text download process in pdf, jpg, tiff) in a single click!

     Chart: Family or Patent
       The user can choose to make statistical analysis considering the frequencies
       of patent families or the frequencies of all patents.

     Project Properties: New "Modify" button
       This new improvement allows the user to modify its request.
       With this new button, the user directly can modify its request strategy to improve its efficiency.
       The new strategy will be taken into consideration in the next request processing.

     Claim Tree: New algorithm
       With this new algorithm, Matheo Patent can create claim tree with more claim files.

     USPTO : Patents from 1790 through 1975
       est process to extract information from USPTO database concerning old patents.

     Patent Analysis: New Application Number Date (Year) Tab
       The user can create Chart/Matrix/Network with the Year of the Application Date of each patent.

     Language: French translation of the interface
       A Matheo Patent version in French is now available in Beta version. Don’t miss to send your remarks
       on this translation to our support.

This new option integrates a semantic analysis processing tool based on a "Part of Speech Tagger".
This analysis method can be used to process grammatical tagging or word-category disambiguation.
It helps the user with the analysis of textual information.
This tool in is available for English language. Other languages will be added in the future version.

     How to use it in Matheo Analyzer

Step 1: When importing your file into Matheo Analyzer, choose and select a text field in English (i.e. Abstract, title, ...)

Step 2: Choose the "Semantic" menu

Step 3: At this stage, the user has to choose to process "names" alone or "names and adjectives".

Step 4: The created field presents the tagged words
